Please note that the following encompasses orders for MSC/Sid Tool, also including Class C Solutions Group (CCSG).

 

Attached is the latest version of MSC's Routing/ Logistics Guide. These instructions do NOT change the freight terms under which you ship to MSC. The procedures contained in this Guide must be followed for all shipments from your company, moving to MSC locations, with COLLECT freight terms. This Guide must also be followed for Third Party Bill (To MSC) shipments, shipping to our Customers.

 

When making prepaid shipments you are not required to follow these routing  instructions.

 

Following these procedures will assist to ensure that your product is received, paid for and available for sale in the most efficient manner.

 

Here are a few reminders:

1. If MSC is responsible for the freight costs on a UPS Small Parcel shipment, you are to ship collect, using the appropriate UPS Account Number.

2. For Freight/LTL shipments (Not Small Parcel) you are to follow the attached Routing Guide. Included in the Guide is a matrix for your use in determining the carrier you are to utilize for moving this freight.

Please do not confuse UPS/FedEx Small Parcel with UPS Freight or FedEx Freight.

 

MSC DOES NOT UTILIZE FEDEX FREIGHT or XPO LOGISTICS. as a carrier and is

not to be used unless the terms are "collect billing our customer" Please refer to the Carrier Selection Guidelines contained herein.

 

Failure to follow the instructions contained in this guide may result in your company being charged back for full freight costs and administrative expenses.
